About Authors

Mr. Ritik Srivastava, a dedicated academician in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences, has earned both his Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) and Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm), establishing a strong foundation in the discipline. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at JBIT College of Pharmacy, Dehradun, he is deeply committed to nurturing the next generation of pharmacy professionals.

His teaching approach blends theoretical knowledge with practical insights, encouraging students to understand the real-world applications of pharmacology. With a keen interest in academic development, Mr. Srivastava constantly engages in innovative teaching methodologies to simplify complex concepts for beginners.

His passion for pharmacology stems from the belief that strong fundamentals shape competent healthcare professionals. This conviction inspired him to co- author Pharmacology: A Beginner’s Guide, a book crafted to provide students with a structured and accessible entry into the subject. Ms. Kirti Kumari, a passionate pharmacy practitioner and academician, has completed her Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) and presently serves as an Assistant Professor at JBIT College of Pharmacy, Dehradun. Alongside her academic role, she actively engages in pharmacy practice, which provides her with valuable practical insights that enrich her teaching.

He currently holds the position of Principal and Assistant Professor at JBIT College of Pharmacy, Dehradun, where he has earned recognition for his visionary leadership and student-centric approach. Dr. Maurya’s academic career reflects his dedication to bridging the gap between research and teaching, instilling in students both critical thinking skills and professional values.

His doctoral journey reinforced the importance of comprehensive learning, which ultimately inspired him to contribute to the development of beginner-friendly resources in pharmacology.
